So... it's been awhile... but we are back. For now.
What's new: Marcus works nights at Purdue. I am in my last semester at Ivy Tech and I have a job for graduation as an assistant teacher in a Montessori day care.
Upgrades: We've recently made a few exciting purchases. We've bought some new furniture and decor. We also have an Xbox 360, which is super fun. The most exciting (esp. for Marcus) is a new 40" plasma TV. It's big and beautiful and awesome. Since we paid off our car we are hoping to buy a second car this summer.
That is it for today, but hopefully we can keep this up. Expect are rants, raves, and maybe a few remembrances of the awesome things we have done this past year.

Some Things To Look Forward To
We've been stressed lately. A lot of things have gone just plain wrong and we're sick of it. But, since life can't be all bad we have a few things we are really excited about.
1. Winter is almost over and Marcus will be going back to work very soon.
2. Alex is coming home from his mission in a week so we'll be going down to Indy for that.
3. BOTH of my awesome sisters are pregnant and I am so unbelievably excited about that there just isn't words. This summer is going to be full of baby joy as one is due in June and the other in July.
4. We have three close friends getting married. Yay for them!
5. We hope to go on a vacation this summer. We didn't get to last summer so it's been awhile for us. We need the sanity break. If all goes as we hope we will be going camping.
Things are going to be great this spring and summer. We're excited for this silly winter weather to be over.

Farewell to Eiji
This morning when we arose from bed we noticed that our dear beta fish Eiji had left us. He was with us for almost a year. He was the first addition to our family and a few months later became an older brother to our cat Roscoe. He was full of excitement and loved swimming around but always went into his hut when he was ready to hide. Whenever we turned on his light above his vase he would swim to the top and swim a circle a few times full of happiness. Sometimes we thought something was wrong because we would try to dig in his rocks. We knew that everything was good though. He started showing signs of age earlier this week. We will always miss Eiji but his spirit will live on. He will be joining Laura's old fish Milo in the Wabash.

About Us
This is Laura. In all likely hood I will be the main author of this family's blog. A little bit about us for those who may be a little behind. Marcus and I have been married for a year now and are extraordinarily happy together. We have a cat named Roscoe who is 7 months old. I am a college student at Ivy Tech in Lafayette, Indiana majoring in Early Childhood Education. Marcus works at Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex as a grounds keeper. Marcus and I babysit for members in our ward every chance we get. We love doing this because children are a joy. Plus, we don't mind the extra cash. We live in a... let's say... cozy... apartment in Lafayette. We enjoy spending time together and with our families in Indianapolis as well as spending time outdoors doing most of the typical outdoor activities. I enjoy producing art and studying art history. Marcus enjoys playing basketball and video games. Although honestly we just watch a lot of TV. We are excited to be official bloggers. We have a what we think is a boring day to day life, but we have a lot of ideas to share if anyody cares to read. I hope you enjoy!
